RadioCut lets you listen to radio transmissions from hours or days ago. Also you can create cuts, describing segments of these transmissions to share with other users.
The radio, as a mean of communication, has nearly a century. Since then, it comes into our homes with varied content: news, sports, music, humor, culture, etc.
But until now we could only access this content if we were tuned in at the right time. RadioCut brings radio's content to the internet era, where the user is the one who decides when and what to listen to.
RadioCut's cuts, allow navigation among hours of radio transmissions to retrieve with only a couple of clicks what we are looking for.
From the home page, clicking on the logos of the radios or "+Radios", to see them all, you can access the page with the details of the radio. See more about this page in the Instructions manual.
Clicking on "Play" will take you to hear what was playing on the radio station half hour ago. Using the arrow keys you can move forward or backward in time, until a few minutes before the current time. RadioCut doesn't allow listening to live radio, Most radios have that possibility on their website. Here you can find a detailed description of all the features of this page.
While you are listening to the radio, if there's something you want to share, you can click on Create cut" and describe this segment in order to be found by other users. See more details about creating cuts.
Alternatively, you can use the search bar above to find radios, programs, or cuts, based on keywords.
In all internal pages, you will see in the sidebar, links to cuts that may be of your interest. Also, in the timeline, you will see marked cuts created by you or other users. Clicking on them will bring you to the cut page, you can listen and share with friends via Twitter, Facebook or email.
